Really retarded, but I have a Guy Game promo that adds a bottleneck to a canned beverage.

If I had to pick one it would be my Violent Seed Proto for the PSX.
It only has one very incomplete level, but the game had promise.

Probably my Megaman 15th anniversery bobblehead pin. Its pretty neat, and I wish I had some more Promo items. Second up would be my Katamari mousepad. Both bought from different years of E3 on eBay.

It is not really obscure, but it is the closest that I have.

I have a old Sonic the Hedgehog rc car.

Probably my DC Seaman "Seaman of the Sea" promo can. Much like the game itself, very odd. When you open it, you hear it say "I'm seaman ...You can't send me back if that's what you're thinking."

I don't have much, but I did just remember that I've got a blue PS2 LCD clock with suction cup feet. The clock portion rolls about so it's always facing the right direction, no matter where you hang it.

It's anybody's guess if the damn thing would actually STICK to something, though...

It's kinda cute, but I'm sure there's at least half a million more out there.

I dunno what it's called, but that thing that you stick on a snowboard to give your non-bound foot something to stick on to. I have one of those that says "SSX" on it. I don't have much in the way of promo stuff. Just game store pre-order giveaways. My favorite is my Call of Duty action figure.

I have a traditional Korean "boardgame" (It's actually played on a scarf/bandana sized/textured piece of cloth with a gameboard printed on it.) you roll 5 sticks to play it and depending on how the sticks land (flat side up or curved side up) is how many spaces you move.

It comes with the gamebandana, the sticks and a little carrying bag that says "Xbox" on it.

Even the Koreans (who only relatively recently started allowing the import of consoles) get better console swag than the US does.

I have the promotional set that came out with the Classic NES gameboy series a while back. Came with some T shirts, Lanyards and odfest of all Scratch 'n Sniff "NES Classic Series" Stickers. SMB Smells like Spaghetti, DK Bananas, etc.

All packaged in a cardboard box resembling an NES. Spiffy.

Oh, and a few of those big plasic "Wall Stickers" that Nintendo sent out to Gamestop stores.

Ah, the single upside to working at Babbage's.

Thats a bit of a strange promo item.
smurf + condom = smurf safesex

Maybe its a masterplan to stop the expansion of the Smurf race.

My item would be a 'Gold Mario Statue' 1 foot high / made from resin and used as a promotional piece for shops in japan and asia.
