Hey folks,

I am trying to land on donut island, but, I can seem to make landfall. i would assume its the island with the sandbar, but for some reason cant make landfall.

can anyone tell me what side of the island I should land on, and that if it is or is not infact the one with the sand? I'm stuck and want to get all 108 stars!

I remember you have to land on the south side of the donut, I think... It certainly looked like a donut as well, in the SE corner of the map, right? Well, maybe more east than south..

Hey, I'm playing the game as well :D I haven't made it to the Donut Island yet, though. Good game, yet not near as good as it could have been, and not close to the original 2, but I still like it.

On a side note, this game has the WEAKEST most BLAND lead character I've ever seen in a videogame. Atari 2600 main char's had more emotion than this thing. They could have put Keaneau reeves in there and done better.

The whole game was incredibly bland and formulaic. It did absolutely nothing to make itself stand out from every other RPG ever. A complete letdown after how awesome III's storytelling was.

From my experience people will either love 3 and hate 4 or vice versa. There aren't many people that love both or hate both. Personally I loved 4 because of a few wonderful little nuances and play mechanics.

What about Suikoden Tactics? I haven't had the pleasure of playing that yet. Also, Suikoden 5 is coming out sometime this year :D

Yeah, it is supposedly coming out around the time that you mentioned. I dunno if it will really happen or not, though. I hope that they aren't rushing it, as they just finished Tactics recently, and also 4 hasn't even been out all that long. But, judging by the new trailer released for it, it looks awesome.

well I just finished the game last night and i'm debating playing it through again now that i know a few more things and I have 200K + potch to start the game hehe. not sure though because I still have champions of norrath and champion: return to arms to play yet too. I do hope to find a copy of Suikoden Tactics and also Suikoden III to play so I can say I've played them all =)
