I have been loving my 360 but even I have to admit the whole backwards compatablility thing is turning out to be quite stupid. I just wanted to sound off a thread and hear what other gamers are most wanted to be compatable with a future update. Most wanted from me STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT II. This is just a no brainer and as to why it is not being worked on as being BC just baffles me. A stupid thing like being backwards compatable should not be an issue.

I can't say there's any I'm really waiting for personally. I've never played an Xbox game on my 360, and I never plan to. I have way too many save files and the like...it wouldn't end up being worth the time. But I definitely would like to see the list updated more often, as I know not everyone has the same stance I do. It really seems as though they've dropped the ball on backwards compatibility thus far, so I really hope that some great titles get added soon. Battlefront II is a definite good choice, and Psychonauts would be nice.

Battlefront II would be one that I would like to see, but like pacmanhat, I really don't use the 360 for my xbox games.

Chronicles of Riddick.
But I don't care either. I don't even have 360 yet and if I did I would be playing 360 games on it.

I bought fatal frame 3 a few days ago for ps2. I played the 1st one, and liked it, so I figured the 3rd might be good to. I came across fatal frame 2 for xbox, and it isn't compatible with 360. I'm disapointed, that and battlefront 2 would probably be nice.

I really hope Sonic Riders is BC though. I would really like to be able to play that on my 360 on Live, I don't feel like going through my normal Xbox.

i think xbox BC is pointless. i think they just have it to say that they have it. no one who has an xbox and games for it would want to play their xbox games on the 360 since they lose all their saves. so who exactly are they marketing it towards? people who never had an xbox? even so an xbox now can be gotten for like 70 bucks, whereas a 360 is 300-400. its all the HD's fault. i love the fact i dont need memory cards, but sometimes i wish i could copy any HD save to a mem card and then transfer that to the 360... only way i would care about its BC.

I would like to see the original Need For Speed: Underground. I think it might be one of the 10 best Xbox games period. I really didn't like the second one, but the first one was absolutely brilliant. Maybe the best graphics on Xbox 1 period.
The main reason I would like to see it, is just cause it would be upconverted to 720p, and I would like to see if it's even more purdy :D

Here's why it's useful: there are plenty of older Xbox games that I have yet to play at all, but I want to and will at some point. With backwards compatibility, I can pop them into my Xbox 360 and have at 'em. Without, I've got to keep the old Xbox hooked up or dig it out (something that for various reasons many of us wish not to do). There you go. I would think it's actually of higher importance amongst this community, where most of us are continually picking up older games to try.

Another reason why BC is important...it will definately determine what future Xbox games I buy. My frontroom entertaiment system which supports all my online needs has room for one big system...which means I moved my xbox to my room of doom. Any upcoming BC Xbox game would be considered just to fill time waiting for the 360 lineup to fatten up. Although I know that I can still play the games on my xbox, but once you play your xbox games on your 360, it is hard to go back...espically with the enhanced resolution. The res increase may be slight, but I definately noticed a difference in Halo 2 and Crimson Skies.

I had the PS2 one but I agree. Underground 2 and Most Wanted never came close. Pure arcade style racing :)

My original xbox burned out and all I have is a 360 now so the compatibility really saddens me. There's tons of games I'd love to replay on my 360, but alas, I am stuck with Barbie Horse Adventures as a choice. I'm probably just going to rebuy an xbox somewhere down the road when I find one absolutely dirt cheap. Titles I WISH I could play:
Fatal Frame
Fatal Frame 2
Oddworld Munchs Odyssey
Panzer Dragoon Orta
Shenmue II
Silent Hill 2
Silent Hill 4
Tenchu Return from Darkness
Voodoo Vince
Damn you microsoft!

Isn't Ninja Gaiden compatible? That's a start...
I want to see Silent Hill 4, Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath, and Tenchu RFD, though.

I'd like to see
Panzer Dragoon Orta
Jet Set Radio Future
Gunvalkyrie
Toe Jam & Earl III
Otagi 1 & 2
Outrun 2
Metal Slug 3
Black Stone
Metal Dungeon
Oh wait sorry It said TOP games, assuming that means top selling games.
Please disregard this post as the games I'd like to see were not top tier titles.
