BBSes ....

"Sierra OnLine" 's "The Sierra Network" ....

The Commodore 64 computer's "QuantumLink" ....

OnLine services are being revived & that's so cool!

I'd like ta know if anyone's had any experience with "Habitat" & if so, what was it like?

Here's the data > The History Of "Habitat" (http://www.fudco.com/habitat/archives/000021.html)
Another opinion > Comment On "Habitat" (http://www.fudco.com/chip/lessons.html)
Analysis > "RUN" Magazine's "Habitat" Review (http://mixnmojo.com/galleries/gallery.php?gallery=237&image=2468&goback=)

Wanna read about the restarting of the other online services I mentioned?

Based on what Bill Kunkel wrote about Habitat in his recent book, I'd have to rate it an interesting experiment but a solid "meh." Pass for me.

I'd also be remiss if I didn't point out that DP's own icbrkr has had a BBS revival going on for quite some time. Visit particles.org (http://www.particles.org) for the details.
