is this a good deal (for the BIN) ?

Oh and which DC DDR is the best, what sort of music do they have?

I think that's a tad on the expensive side, personally (though I don't know how AU converts to USD). The songlist is here: http://www.ddrfreak.com/versions/songlist.php?mix=39

I only liike about three of those songs, so I wouldn't get it, but if you like more of them, it may be a better deal for you.

If I were going to get a DC version of DDR (which I may do some day), I'd look for 2nd ReMix. It's song list can be had here: http://www.ddrfreak.com/versions/songlist.php?mix=38

I like most all of those songs, and they're the more popular ones among the community too.

$149 AU = $88 USD.

Thanks Joe. In that case, the price isn't bad at all, but the songlist still sucks. Your decision, HappyDude.

Same package with 2nd mix. :-D
I have 8 days to download some songs :D

It's only a dance mat and not a platform so I thought the price was a bit steep.
but I'v been looking for DDR forever (even on FTP's and IRC but don't tell anyone ;) )
so it looks like I'll snipe this puppy :D do you think the BIN price is O.k?

I would suppose so. I paid 50USD for DDR for PS2, and 30 USD per mat, so you can make your decision from that. I believe the dreamcast versions are much harder to find than the psx version, so this price may be fine, but it seems just a little on the steep side for me.

Maybe you should try feet of fury. It's a homebrew dc game that supports custom songs (in ogg vorbis format). I don't know if it uses a mat or whatever, but it's just a thought. And it's a free download too. ;)

nothings wrong the ps/ps2 versions. it's more of a "cool, didn't know they had it" sort of thing. like samba de amigo maracas. (yes, they will be mine. they will be mine.)

Feet of Fury is very cool...

I believe it is mat compatible.

The demo I downloaded (31 Megs) only has a few songs on it, and it is always in battle mode, all I know is, even with a controller, I cannot win one song. Too many power-ups. My only knock on the battle mode...

Here is the official page...http://www.cagames.com/fof.php

definitely, check it out!! Good stuff!!!
