last page of this month's Game Informer. there's a screen capture of Street Smarts, with a couple of options below it. is that a real game (brawl town)?, because i recognize the other name choices.

Didn't see the mag, but I know about riot city for the pc fx I think? And there is an arcade game Brute Force which may have another name which is similar to something city?

the picture was from street smart. it was a quiz on "what snk brawler was this", with choices like Mean Street, Downtown, etc.

Downtown is also an arcade beat em up, you get to beat up hookers and policemen. It does sound familiar though brawl town? I'm sure it may be a JPN NES game for some reason, but I can only think of arcade games like: gang wars, avengers(the Capcom one not the Data East one), vandyke, D.D Crew (the sega brawler not the Mario game), Korean bootlegs? (that Ninja Gaiden one?) and kyros.
Mighty Final Fight, Spartan X 2 NES? I know they have weird translated names in JPN and stuff sometimes?
Damn now it's bothering me... :(
