I finally tracked down and found Real Bout Dominated Mind for the PSX. Brand new and factory sealed! Costed me $60, but who cares, I finally got it!

It's the Asian version btw. What's the difference? Everything is the same, except the warning label is in english, and I think the manual is in chinese/english as well.

I'm not an expert, but from the look of it it's a port of Real Bout Fatal Fury Special. Probably like the Samurai Shodown 4 Special port where an additional character was added. Can't say for sure, but that's my best guess.

And usually the only difference between Asian and Japanese versions is the notation on the back, and often a supplemental manual in English and Chinese. Sometimes games that came with special bonus items (like memory card stickers) would lack those bonuses in the Asian versions (or so I've heard).

Real Bout Dominated Mind isn't a port. It's a exclusive PSX game made by SNK. It plays like the Real Bout series, except they added 1 character from Real Bout 2, a brand new never before seen boss in any Real Bout game "White"(Who's the game's version of Alex from A Clockwork Orange with the whole costume. How freaking cool is that?) Also, the slide in and out ability has been removed. This is the only Real Bout game that had that removed. And I'm glad because that gets annoying at times. They added in a awesome anime intro by the company responsible for such great shows like Cowboy Bebop, and they also added endings as well. And new music.

I heard this game was the best job SNK ever done for the PSX. The animation has little to no frame missing, the music doesn't sound muffled, load times are short, and no slowdown.

I can't wait to get this game in my hands. I'm a huge fan of the Real Bout series.

I also heard this game is pretty hard to find. Used ones tend to go up to $60 on Ebay. That's why I was so happy to get a brand new one for $60. But, you can get it for atleast $30-45 for a good condition one from forum members like this place if they have it, and willing to sell it.
