Kameo help, Thorn battle

My god, is this fight ridiculous. Comparing it to the SNK boss syndrome would be underestimating the SNK boss syndrome.

I can get his life halfway down before everything starts going to hell. I'm using Thermite and plastering him with bombs since these are the only things that seem to be causing any real damage. The other critters can't seem to move quick enough to dodge his charge (and even Thermite doesn't move fast, and switching to his shield form doesn't do much).

So, did anyone pull this off? The faqs didn't offer me much (dodge and shoot isn't exactly deep when that's all I've been doing). Am I missing something that will cause more damage or destroy him quicker?

What frustrates me even more is that when I played through co-op, we took the bastard down in a few minutes. Solo, I can't pull it off after three days of trying.

Yeah. I had the same problem. He actually turned out to be quite easy though. What you need to do is look up. Thorn is not alone. Kameo's sister is flying around supporting Thorn. Target her, then Thorn, then her, then Thorn, until it's done.

She is tough to spot until you know she is there.

This is as clearly as I rmember it.

I loved this game. Thought it was seriously under appreciated.

I didn't have any trouble, I just kept running around plastering everything with a bunch of bombs. I had Thermite completely maxed out, and I did change to whoever you need to to kill the golems now and then. And make sure you take out Kalus with Chillas Ice Spear when she starts to heal him.

Um actually there's a super easy way. Use 40below and then do the spinning thing over and over. You can't really be hurt, but it doesn't do alot of damage. But eventually it will kill Thorn. I though the last boss was incredibly easy, since you're basically invincible if you do that.

I beat him on my first try using thermite. Just be sure to also target your sister as well as thorn.

Ok, here's my problem: 40 Below doesn't seem to be doing ANY damage. I stood right next to him for a solid 10 minutes and it didn't look like any life had slipped off.

I can't figure out where the chick is in the air, especially when he's charging. I looked around with Chilla and didn't see her anywhere.

Third, Thermite doesn't move quick enough to avoid the running charge.

I'm stunned to learn either:

A- how much I suck.
B- how other people got lucky.

Loved the game up until this point. Hell, loved it in co-op. Now? Not so much. I think I'm hopeless, even with the help and advice.
