I seen this at a pawn shop today for $9.95
Should I have bought it? I haven't heard anything since the whole big fiasco thing came down a few months back?
I tried to search for it on ebay and couldn't find any auctions for it
Let me know

Well if you want nice big juicy tities, then this game is for you. if you want a game that is actually fun and has good gameplay, this game is definitly not for you.

I know the games sucks really bad, I just couldn't find any on ebay though. So has it gotten really rare or something, or what kind of money is it going for?

Ya, it really has. One of the rarer titles for PS2. It was taken off the shelves for awhile due to a girl in the game being underage in it. She was 17, your supposed to be 18. She had a fake ID.

I still see this game brand new an awful lot in local Gamestops and EBWorlds. If it was in fact really pulled from shelves and it wasn't just a rumor it's most certainly back again. The price IS though on the high side when I see it though.

I still haven't found any credible source to verify this story yet. The only thing I remember reading was a statement from the publisher that was posted on a few sites. For all we know, they could have made this story up just to help sell more copies.
I personally don't buy it. If there really was a girl that was only 17 in it, GG would have been yanked off store shelves so fast. Yet I still see them for sale everywhere.

I still see this game everywhere. If you can call it a game. Pass on it.

sad to see pedophilia as a marketing strategy, that makes for an all time low for the industry. :hmm:

Just to be technical, being attracted to a 17-year old isn't pedophilia. Publishing nude photography or pornography of a 17-year old might be illegal in many countries, including the US, but pedophilia means being attracted to children. A 17-year old female is already well-developed by that age.
Do I say this to cover my ass? Absolutely.

In a country founded on Puritan values? Sure.

It was pulled, but it turned out the girl actually was 18. So, any small amount of success this game may have had was ruined, and the price dropped and is easily obtainable. I've not seen any copies personally, but I hear they are pretty common. Go look for the 'Rare PS2 games' thread. (If there is one? I'm pretty sure there is)

I saw a PC version of it earlier at EB Games, so it looks like the game is still on shelves, at least at my store.

Yeah, there are at least one of these at my gamestops/EBs at any given time. I think the whole underage thing was disproved, and stores were allowed to sell it again.
It's not all that rare, and pretty awful. As far as an investment, I wouldn't count on it being worth anything in the long run.

It was yanked from shelves, but then returned soon after.
Is it rare? Nope. But you could have the pleasure in owning one of the lowest rated games in a long time. LOL
My understanding of the story was that the girl was 17 when the filming took place. Everyone involved had to sign a waiver and what not but somehow she lied and got in anyways. From what I heard it was her parents that were the ones to propose the law suit and try to get production stopped.
Here is a small article I found about the suit:

Doesn't really clear any of the rumors up thought as the game returned to retail in less than a month.

To answer the original question, I don't think the game has *ever* been 'in demand.' :)

Agreed, if you are a male and say a fully developed 17 year old female (which by most cases this is already the case as puberty for women ends around this time, correct?), you are simply kidding yourself. if the law stated that the legal age was 25 you'd have all these people saying 'she's 24..that is so wrong'.
friggin' laws.. :(

I think this 'game' is dumb and infantile. No matter if it will be worth one cent or $1000, I don't want something like this on my shelves.

Man one easy search on IGN backed up the 17 year olds claim -

It sells for $40+ on eBay, that is if you can get it on there without them yanking it first, I've tried two times and they've taken down my auction, a third and they'll suspend my account. :(

Dude one word BOOBIES!!!!!
Just kidding. This game is pathetic and I do not know who in their right mind would buy this game. Come on if you are desperate for some boobies just go to google images and type in boobies.
I would not buy this game no matter how horny I was. Come on you have to answer lots of question to get a 5 sec clip of some boobies = A waste of my time.

I bought it, it's actually a pretty fun drinking game. I didn't really buy it for the tits, but hey, it's a nice extra.

Here's the version of the history of this game, as far as I see it...
They started to sell the game. Gamers said it sucked because it wasn't intended for them. It was intended for guys at a big party to sit around getting drunk and playing. For what it set out to do, it didn't do such a bad job with two exceptions -- seeing the females that were supposed to be the selling point of the game is a difficult task to accomplish while sober unless you replay the round. And only about 50-75% of the females in the game will probably appeal to any one guy.
It was also released at too high of a price point. A drinking game? You can play dice or something for a lot cheaper than this. And a game to look at females half nude? You can get Girls Gone Wild videos that show more for half the price.
So what we had was pretty much a failure for the game company to actually hit the target market with their product.
Now, the game went to market and after a while the makers were sued by a girl who claimed that she was 17 when the video was made, and therefore it was illegal to use her consent. Except that the courts threw this out because she used a fake ID to gain access to doing it, and there is something about not being able to do that and then sue the maker (for you doing an illegal act). I don't know the specifics. As it is, never was it proven that she was actually 17 as of the filming.
So, after a month the game queitly went back to store shelves.
Was it an attempt to get people to buy it? I don't think so, as there was no fanfare when the game returned, and nothing changed with it. It was just the return of a improperly marketed game to the market.
Recently, the group that made the game said that they were going to stop the sale of the game because they wanted to release the footage in it as a Girls Gone Wild type tape -- where it would be more like an actual game show and not a game. What happened with that, I don't know.
I do own the game. I purchased it right about the time it was being pulled because I figured it would be really rare and worth a bit of money. It's probably worth the same amount as what I paid for it now.
It is rare? Kinda. Is it a worthy game? Considering that anyone reading this has an internet connection, probably not. Is it nice to have at a drinking party? Yeah, but probably only if it is all unlocked before you play.
Should you get it? eBay still doesn't allow you to sell the game even though it is back on store shelves (Check EBGames.com for the PC version right now, or GameStop for a better price ;) ) People on this site tend to not want to purchase it because it isn't really a game. So, you're sort of stuck with what to do with it.
Your call. Am I glad I got mine? I still don't really know...

Some people have had luck with eBay labeling it as "The Family Guy Game", for whatever reason eBay overlooks it then.

I'm dumb enough to buy it, but don't want to pay much. And I want it in factory cellophane if I can get it that way. That's probably never going to happen, but if anyone sees a cheap source for console versions, beh, let me know.
