It doesn't matter. What is the difference between the 3? Price? Durability? Rarity? Which one is generally most-liked with the diehard Genesis crowd?

I think all 3 are pretty durable. Version 3 is probably the least common of the bunch. If you're planning on hooking up your Genesis to a Sega CD, you'll definitely want to get a Version 1 or 2. I think the original Genesis has the advantage of having a headphone jack, but is largely the same otherwise.

Are you able to pay through PayPal? I'll have to double check, but I might have a spare Genesis I can part with. I think it only has RF and not AV though... You can PM me if you're interested.

i got one, only thing is that the cover to the sega cd expansion side is not there. usual wear on it, but not horrible. let me know.
