My planned guitar hero paint job

after visiting the forums at www.guitarherogame.com and drooling over peoples costum work i decided to plan a special design for a second guitar. i just ordered a leopard print guitar strap (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7388219047&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1) for my guitar, it inspired this design:

its off white with a matte black pick guard, leopard print, black pin stripe (seperating the print and the paint). i want to detail the fret board with silver to.

tell me what you guys think :D

Cool idea that you can customize those. But let me be honest here and say that your design is atrocious.

I think its pretty cool. The Halen designs there are all pretty sweet. I want to customize mine, but I'd bet that I'd mess up or it would end up looking like hell. Besides, theres nothing wrong with black.

i told you before but i will say it again...i think its great, but purple would rock instead of the cream/eggshell on the sides. just my opinion.

I like it. It brings out some of you in your guitar. That is half the fun of having things like guitar hero. The idea of having something fun and different.

you hit the nail on the head man. exactly the feel i am going for. basically a mixture of Bootsy Collin's and one of Princes guitars. i bought the strap for it after seeing prince this past saturday on SNL, he had a leopard strap that made me think "i need that for my GH controller" LOL then inspiration struck

Oh and I think the final project is going to look much better than the mockup pic in the first post.

it may be a toy guitar but its no different from people modding their consoles. its a form of personalization.
