Picked up a couple of boxes today after I noticed Link and Mario on the box. Nice looking box with Nintendo characters on the box and a little mini board game on the back. Free Gboy SP giveaway contest as well.

heh I dunno I've seen sealed boxes of Nintendo cereal sell for over $100.00
Not something every Mario/Zelda/Nintendo collector will have. So its great trade bait. Eat the cereal save the box and trade it to a Nintendo nut who didn't see it when it was available.

What the heck? LOL
*ants fall out of box of ancient cereal and the buyer takes a big hammer and tries to mash the ants, failing every time*
No offense, just my opinion.

wait... So you are saying people paid over 100 dollars for a box of cereal because it has zelda on the cover?
Wow...
I didnt even think 2000 dollars for a neo geo game was crazy, but this?!

Those boxes of cereal tend to be worth more when they're left alone- the food's sealed in plastic. Not for consumption's sake, but to give the box some body and also to ensure that it isn't damaged in some way, because the glue sealing the top flaps tends to rip the cardboard.
You realize of course that you'll have to sit on the investment for 20 years or so before it's even worth anything because most serious cereal collectors are now 'on the ball' so to speak.

The only thing I liked eating soggy were those shortbread cookies from school lunch. I used to soak them with milk then eat them, that was good stuff.

The roof cutting thing is very common, I have even seen stuff on TV making fun of it.
