Anyone know if this came sealed? I imported one awhile back when there were released and it had no seal on it, you could basically unlatch the little flap and you would be able to open it real easy. I was just wondering if the importer did'nt scam me or anything, also i heard there were a few that came with a golden ticket for a 24k gold zelda sp. I havn't opened it yet, so if they did'nt come sealed i was hoping i could peak inside to see if theres a gold ticket or not.

While I don't have one no system box has ever come in a wrapper like games do (which you probably already know). They'll always come with that circular tape seal. I've never managed to take one off without taking any of the box coloring off.

Yea i was asking if it came with a circular seal. The box has no damage, but I was thinking pal stuff might have a special seal, anyway, my question still remains: does anyone know if this came sealed or not?

May i ask where you got it from?

In Australia all the GBA's that I get direct from Nintendo
INCLUDING the gold Zelda gba SP do not come sealed.
I have multiple units sitting in my store in front of me as i
speak.

Honestly I don't remember the name of the site, but it was based out of london. I'm wondering now if I should check for the golden ticket?

There should be a 'golden ticket' stating the what number it is out of 300 (since only 300 of these were released). There should be a seal iirc. A small circular on on the top flap.

Maybe I am reading this wrong, but if there is no seal why not just open it up and look inside yourself?

I bought one when it came out. It wasn't sealed. Inside should be a trifold with a code for 750 VIP star points, a manual for the GBA SP, and the booklet for Minish Cap.

Unless you are one of the lucky ones to get a code for the actual gold SP (7 made).

So you have to redeem the code on the nintendo site I assume? Are Americans aloud to redeem it?

Code is for the European Stars program only, and requires you live in Europe. At 750 points, it's about the most valuable item you can buy to get points (as it counts for 500 for the hardware, and 250 for the game).

You could try trading the code to someone in Europe.

Interesting. Not sealed, so any savvy worker in a game store could open every single one in the store looking for one of the special golden tickets. Real smart, Nintendo.
