Prices on the PS1 dance games are getting up there I've been noticing. Since I have to have a modded system anyways to play the import versions.... well.... if anyone can help me out, send me a pm or e-mail and let me know please :)
Right now I only have DDR Konamix US Retail version and I've played it to death.

Well, there is a 'Dance Dance Revolution' for PS1 that is a US release. I have no idea about imports though.

That's konamix, and I have it, believe it or not that damn game is going for like $40+ on ebay right now. I'm looking to spend a few dollars on them.

I think there is a plain DDR USA version too. There is also a Disney mix, but all the PS1 DDR go for quite a bit on eBay. If you're into the 'not' in real or not, try either BT or ED2K.

There are 3 Dance Dance Revolution games released in America on Playstation. Dance Dance Revolution, Konamix, and Disney Mix. Word.
I guess you could always import 1st through 5th mix...

Konamix shouldnt be all that hard to get/pay for, it did get a GH reprint and i'm still seeing that in stores. The other 2 US releases on the other hand.....
There are enough PS2 releases as well, but I rarely ever see those used so good luck to you there.
Theres a number of Japanese PSOne games that arnt super expensive. I got DDR 2nd mix and both Appendix's for I think 40 shipped not that long ago off ebay. Certain versions are going to be tougher to get because of specific songs and all, but they should'nt be all that bad. If there are songs that you like you might want to check out some of the DDR sites to get an ider as to which mix's have which songs so you can get the most bang for your bucks.

F* DDR. Go to your local game store, pick up Pump it up with pad for 40 bucks. But, if you do want older mixes, 3rd, 4th, 5th, best hits and extra are all good mixes. Lots of overlap between 3rd and best hits, and if you want the best bang for your buck, 3rd has ridiculous amounts of songs, and endless, which is always fun.
Or you can do my new favorite thing if you have a modded xbox, d/l stepmaniax for your box, gives me every song I ever could want in one handy place, and I can still play ddr on my tv. (PS2->xbox adapter for my pads, though they do make xbox pads.)

Does anyone know the reasoning for DDR in the states and then the name change to Dancing Stage in Europe?
