Anyways, people are hyping the hell outta Black, and after the demo, and my initial shock with the game, I have to say, the game really isn't offering anything new.

I hope I'm wrong, but from the demo, it seems to be a FPS, with shooting, and some destructible environments. The gameplay really isn't anything new. Graphics and audio are fantastic too, but I'd rather have gameplay. Hopefully the full game has some stuff that the demo didn't hint at yet.

It should have much more. The disk isn't to great but Black made it completely worth it, I loved it. Total Overdose is fun for about 10 minutes, I played the game on PC back in October.

Halo didn't offer anything new, just nice graphics and audio, and people ate it up like it was a gift from god. :)

I'm down for giving Black a shot when it finally rolls out. Wish I had this demo disc so I could play it...but..eh..I'm not buying a magazine just for a demo disc unless it's something like Christmas Nights :(

Did you order from one of those magazine drives? where middle schoolers come to your door and try to sell you magazine subscriptions, because I ordered PC Gamer and PSM from one of those people and they dont come with the DVDs. Its not awful though cause at least those magazines have some level of quality. OXM's only quality is the disks.
