So, I had been entering all the contests I could find in an attempt to get an xbox 360 the American way-- free.
One of the sweepstakes, EA NBA Live experience or whatever, contacted me today and told me that I won NBA Live 06 on Xbox, ps2, or psp. I chose xbox, and I can't wait to take it to EB games and get my small sum of money towards something better... like the mega man collection :D

One time I won a PC game from Gamespot called Cutthroats. Man did it suck. They didn't even send me the T-shirt they said I would get. I knew it would suck because I won. If it was actually good, someone else would have won. The other time I won something was when I was six or seven. I got a Christmas themed coffee mug from a raffle held by a little neighborhood get-together. Oh well, at least it wasn't NBA Live 06. :P

I would have picked the PS2 version and kept it, but then again, I've wanted to check out a decent current-gen basketball title for a while. Anyways, congrats.
A couple years ago, I won Arc The Lad: Twilight Of The Spirits for PS2 in a Hershey's contest. It's still in my backlog...

It's always cool to win something, especially if you've completely forgotten you've entered, like I have a couple of times. LOL Then it's a totally cool surprise.

I once won tickets to see KISS in a small club by being the 9th caller on a radio show.
They were doing a warm-up show for the Hot in the Shade tour. I was 1 of like 500 people to go. I left with Paul Stanley and Bruce Kulick guitar picks that they threw into the crowd.

once i won War Of The Worlds....the PC game from happypuppy.com......terrible game...oh well, at least it was free.....
...i did however sort of win / earn a mountain dew lime green xbox in the dew u point collection deal 2 years ago....
Congrats! It's a good feeling. I would not really know though. The only thing I ever won was a jar full of Jelly Beans. I was in like the 4th grade, and the school had this contest to see if anyone could guess how many Jelly Beans were in the jar. I guessed right. Well, when I got home with my trophy my mom took them away saying, "Your not going to live off of candy for the next month." So, that was that. Story of my life, something good happens, then something bad follows immediately.
