Ngage issues

I got an ngage when it was first released for 300$ mainly because i wanted to use it for an mp3 player and a little pda type thing (oh and play some games)

anywho I tried hooking it up to the pc to transfer files or whatever..and none of the pcs i tried it on could read the system when it was hooked up using the included software

I thought it might be that you needed a memory card, so I kinda forgot about it for months/years

recently a friend gave me a memory card that is compatable with it so I thought i'd try it again, but i'm still getting the smae issues.

basicly when i load up the "suite" program it pops up a dialogue box that says "please connect your nage to your pc and hit ok"

I do, I hear that familar "hey a device is plugged in!" sound
I try to click ok..and nothing happens..the dialogue box doesn't go away or give an error or anything.

on one of the pcs i've tried it on it thinks the ngage is a hp camera and tries to download pictures off it ;-)

i'm a little lost at this point..and would like to play with the rest of the features of the thing..but yeah..lots of frustration with it now.

any suggestions and has anyone else had this problem?

Are you using xp?Also that suite is garbage just drag and drop your file as it should come up as a drive.

Check the Moden Gaming forums... there's a current thread there about the N-Gage that spans 15 pages with lots of info. The N-Gage is still getting game releases (sporatically) so it's still a modern system by definition.

Sorry I can't help with your technical issues... my PC doesn't like Bluetooth dammit.
