Do i have any problem with European N64 carts in an american machine?, i think that maybe the games appear in B/W, but i´m not sure. Also, i could open the machine to modify the pin connector, but, the carts will be work instead of that?...

Thanks in advance,

Matías

Check out the Pasport III. I haven't used one personally but I've heard they work for the majority of games.

Certainly for playing US games on a UK N64 - mine's been invaluable (er, if you consider being able to play 'Hey You Pikachu!' as being invaluable of course!). Shame I can't vouch for Euro games on a US system though.

Yeah, just use an import converter.

There is however, a way to have a fully multi-region N64. You remove the region coding chips from a PAL and NTSC N64, and wire them into one unit. Pointless, as you still need both region N64s to do the mod. But anyway

Well, much as like soldering stuff that shouldn't be there into consoles, I'm not attempting this. I can't be bothered with having an N64 hooked up to the TV.

What I would like is a english version IQue with Mario64, both Zeldas, Pilotwings, Sin and Punishment and Goldeneye. I know that I could potentially play these through a Revo, but Nintendo should embrace the current love for Plug n' Play gaming and release the damn IQue in the west.
