Really, 1000 copies ever made, and this one is brand new. I'm going to look at this auction very carefully.

That "only 1000 produced" rumor is a line of bullshit. Don't know how it got started, but it's completely false.
I have this game, and it only cost me something like $70 (which incidentally is a bit high). Like new, too.
Oh, and you'll notice the sticker is from Trader used game shop. Somebody walked into a Trader store, bought this and decided to list it starting at $.01
It'll go up in price quite a bit, but it shouldn't break $80. Even dojar isn't asking $90 for his copy (search for "fukkokuban").

Mega Drive games weren't sealed. As I mentioned, any "seal" or plastic wrapping was put there by Trader game store, not Sega. They do that with all their old games, even cartridges.
Besides, I've seen this claim before. I think it was "only 5000 made!" last time I saw it. It keeps getting rarer and rarer!
