You know the PC part is the original version that came out more than a year ago, and FCI is the add-on ;)
besides: look at Stalker and you see whats nasty graphics ;)

Yeah I saw that..I held off buying Instincts and oh my god am I glad. The water looks amazing :eek 2:

Yeah, in all fairness it isnt the same game. Also, you have to actually 'Apply' when you change the settings to ultra.
But that is still goddamned hot.

Ok, I watched it again, it was already on ultra. My bad.

Not a graphics whore in the slightest, but that is pretty cool. I would love to play a wave runner game with water like that! :D
Still not a believer in the next gen quite yet, but that water is exciting.

Awesome Graphics but the pc version has come out over a year ago so it is a decent comparision but we will see.
It's iinteresting though looks like it will be pretty good on the 360

Second that. I loved Wave Race simply because it felt like I was really on water at the time. I was amazed at the waves, how the physics of the rider jump over the water. I would really enjoy playing a game that is even a shooter dealing with these types of graphics. The 3 hardest graphical features to make are water, fire, and true shading. Gotta love as newer systems can allow more to be done.

It is actually Intstincts, but redone with new missions and graphics, There will also be a mission pack for the original Xbox. The 360 one includes both.

Holy CRAP. I've watched this about 5 times now and it doesn't stop being incredible. Perhaps what's most enticing is that 3-5 years from now, THOSE graphics are going to seem archaic. LOL
The water was absolutely incredible in the Xbox version, but yeah, I'll grab a copy for my 360. The next gen systems are scary in their potential.

I was a huge fan of both the PC and XBox Far Cry games so I'll definitely be getting this.
The difficulty is much lower due to the new moves and abilities, but I gotta say I think I like Far Cry Instincts more than the PC original. There's less weapons but each one is more unique and more useful throughout the game. The stealth aspects from the PC game are even more rewarding on the XBox version too thanks to the new moves.
Crawling under a hut and then rolling onto your back firing an automatic weapon through the floor from the first person perspective Lethal Weapon 2 style is priceless. LOL
And as we all can agree, "OH MY GOD THE WATER!" I think it's stunning that this little Crytek group came out of nowhere and got Far Cry out on the PC in less time and earlier in the year than both Doom 3 and Half-Life 2 with an engine that can hold its own against the two.

Man, I would love to see a Wave Race ripoff game with that engine. That is absolutely sick. Man, I'm excited for this one now. For some reason, I was thinking it was going to be a quickie port like Gun or Tony Hawk, but this is a legitimate force to be reckoned with.
When does this game come out?

In the newest issue of Game Informer, they have a bunch of pics of Far Cry 360, and this game really does look damn good. There is this one picture, where you are in the jungle, in the really long blades of grass, and it's sunny, and it just looks so cool.
I'm very lucky in a way, cause when this game came out for Xbox 1, I rented it, and played it a little bit, but barely scratched the surface, so this will be like a brand new experience for me, cause I really didn't get very far into it at all. I ended up selling my Xbox, and of the games that I was kinda bumed out on not being able to play, Far Cry was one of them. So getting to play it on the 360, with a shiny new coat of Next-Gen paint, is the icing on the cake!
