Well, I guess that solves the save data copying issue. I wonder if Live Arcade games can be transferred this way. Probably not. Heh.

Well to be fair hacking the HDD is only a minor achievement. Fully hacking the protection system will still take a considerable amount of work.

wow, that's pretty quick

I am not surprised though

well I think in alot of ways it's a good thing for them to crack it.

it's all good.

Interesting. I'd let it mature a bit more before I got into it, though, looks like some people have already damaged some data, heh

From what it sounds like, this program might allow you transfer xbox game saves to the 360. That's pretty good.

It's such a high profile system that damn near everyone and their brother is hammering away at it. I'm sure part of the allure to cracking it is that it's a Microsoft product, and that in itself is enough to draw a legion of dedicated hackers to it.

I'm pretty thankful for it, too. Thanks to their tireless efforts, the Xbox became quite the multi-functional console! Shame that OpenXDK never drew enough support, though...it'd be nice to be able to legally distribute a lot of the software compiled for the system, and it'd also be a nice draw for more software developers. As it is, the system is overloaded with people just recompiling PC source code :(

I can't wait to see what all gets done to the 360.

The save copying is something Microsoft should of had from the start..some kind of adaptor or something.

I was already looking on www.360gamesaves.com and oh goodie, they have save files for a bunch of games already. I dont know if it unlocks the achievements too, I hope not. I knew the 360 file system was going to get hacked, I just hoped it would take a little longer. Just a matter of time now until all the online scores are full of hacked numbers. :/

It sounds like the achievements are linked to a Live account, so they don't transfer over.
