I can sort of relate to your anger. I get made when people call a game like Halo the greatest game of all time. Halo, don't get me wrong it's a good game, but no where close to the best. Only thing worse... Madden '06 is the best game ever! The positive thing about mainstream gamers is they really help keep it alive and booming, plus they don't buy all the great games of the past that people like us want :)

Neo, as in "new," and "Geo" is related to "mega shock," such as you get when an earthquake hits you. It's a geology term.
Makes perfect sense to me ;D
I don't think most consumers will be looking for an intellectual philisophical meaning to a new gaming system when purchasing it... I'll admit the "Geo" part does make it sound intresting when understanding the meaning... to bad they had a high price cap though LOL

What's scary is that probably was the intended meaning...
