I visited Best Buy today for their latest game prices. No cheap PS2 titles interested me & almost no GH titles remained except Max Payne & Silent Hill 2. In the PS1 rack they had (what I gathered) was a 5-demo (just the demos) CD for $100! Crash Bash(?), FF Tactics (or IX), Gran Turismo (2?) & 2 others. What the hell...? How is this justified?

seriously?? are you sure there wasnt a decimal there somewhere?? Maybe some idiot thought it was all of those games in one, and they had those priced at 20 bucks each. i would have talked to the manager about it.

They've always done this. You get it free with the purchase of a PS2. Basically, they want to put them out, but don't want people buying them without a PS2, ergo...at 100 bucks, no one buys any.

A catch-22 rfor them since people would think they are actually $100 even with PS2. They should have placed a big hot pink sticker over the UPC stating it is free *on;y* with the purchase of PS2 or something. I can't believe no one can do better than a $100 price tag.

I've got one that I'll sell for $25. A PlayStation Best Buy EXCLUSIVE.

How hardcore are you?

The weird thing is, when I FIRST saw these, there was a price card of $7.99, but it rang up at $100, which certainly gave me pause... The guy was able to price check and fix it, I guess, since I didn't pay $100 for it.

Ever since though, I've seen it where there's actually a $100 price card, so maybe I wasn't supposed to get it for $8 no way no how...
