oh and how much ram does it have?
if you don't know go to settings>control panel>system. and it should tell you there.

I used to play SS2 all the time on my old 400MHz K6... If you can put up with some frameskip, it runs well enough to enjoy. The machine in question was running Linux... not sure if that leads to any speed difference or not. If anything, I would suggest running an older version of MAME under DOS to get the most out of it. If that still doesn't work, perhaps give NeoRageX a try... I've never used it myself, but I hear it works well on older hardware.
