How many ebay accounts do you have?

How many of you folks divide your Ebay transactions into separate buying and selling accounts?

I have two, one of each for just that reason. I don't want to get flamed on a purchase only to have it affect my selling account. I know of at least one person on this board that has more than 5 accounts, likely so that people don't track his bidding/wins.

I've also recently set up a second eBay account, primarily for the reasons already given and the fact that I wanted to separate the eBay messages from potential buyers with those from sellers.

True story, I went over to my friends house one day who loves porn. So a friend of his gave him a tape to watch and said he would love it. I went to his house so we could challenge in some SF3 on his PS2. So I get there and he is watching some kinda porn and he says "Dude you gotta check this out". I only have 1 account for buying and selling. I've been a member of ebay for almost 2 years now, and I only have 102 feedback. I just don't really think that I would need 2 accounts for selling and buying. I have thought about it, but I really just dont see the point since I do so little on ebay.

How do you guys even set up more than one account? Different addresses, names, etc.... It's easy enough for me to set another one up, but since you can't use the same name and the same address don't you lose functionality? No checks, money orders and whatnot.

You can use the same name, credit card, everything.

Yeah you can use the same everything EXCEPT I think maybe the email address ( I use a different email address on my other account ! )

Its good to have a buying and selling account - if you bid on your selling account for anything to resell, you'll get people bidding on anything you bid on because they think you'll be able to make a profit on it etc..

Yes, I forgot to mention that and can vouch for that, I tried to use the same email, and they reject it.

But its no big deal, Yahoo, hotmail, you can get free addresses everywhere

I'm not sure about the creditcart, but you are allowed to have 2 accounts, as long as they are not used for shill bidding ;)

A lot of eBayers have two accounts and I have never heard of anybody being suspended for having more than one account. In a matter of fact, I don't think there is any limit to the number of eBay accounts that you are allowed to have...
