Freakin A man thier quality control is bad enough
they need more employees!! im tired of games that dont quite hack it - but should have
-- they anounced this and the stock only moved 7cents - pah!!
id like to know where they are planing cutts - suposedly its world wide - but id expect it to be mostly in the US and UK

You know, the exact thing happened with the 'old' Atari back in the mid 80s due to the crash. That's what I read, in any case.

Only in the US is my understanding. The Atari division of infogrames is in serious financial trouble.

i guess thats why the CFO is leaving
does any one know about thier finacial trouble
- as far as i am aware - they didnt meet thier expected goal and therfore lost thier credit line -- but the company has no significant debt

it bums me out when ever i play one of thier games and have to ask "do they even have a quality control standard"

Howard Scott Warshaw (Once Upon Atari) recently had this interesting anecdote to relate:
Wow...that's just insane. Is this the same Atari that's owned by Infogrames? Uh...time to play more Mission Impossible on my N64, isn't it?
