As of Februray 13th, they've updates the listings for the 2005 year. The Argentina article mentions Counterfeit GameCube software.

I didn't know there were pirated GameCube games, or pirated N64 games for that matter. It's just a matter of time before the DS is hit (or has it already?)...

Why wouldn't there be? Once you've got all the equipment it probably takes less than $.50 to pirate a game. I'm not advocating this, nor would I buy a counterfeit, but I assume alot of people would.

I only saw it in the 2006 article, not 2005, but it says some 20,700 gamecube games were returned to the country of origin instead of being confiscated. Now there's some lax laws for ya.

The big question is, why bother?

I would buy a counterfeit. Games are too expensive. I buy pirate everything, I don't care. It's GOOD to have pirates, it prolongs the life of games.

The GC is dead. Why even bother buying stuff for it. I'm sure it'll do even better with pirated software. Just look at the dreamcast it was a success, because it was so easy to hack.

But why is the GC dead? It's the best of the three. Really does annoy me.

Yeah there are pirated GC games. The games can be put on mini-dvd's.

From what I've heard, somewhat.

The only method I've heard of is to hack DS firmware to run DS roms from the GBA slot, then use a flash cart with a DS rom copied onto it. So, bootlegs sound unfeasible, but piracy of the software itself is possible.

so was this site created so organizations like the MPAA RIAA and such can complain about and twards other countries about the laws they should have in those countries?

if so, how lame!
