I know a couple of Taito Arcade hits like Darius Gaiden, and Rayforce (Layer Section) was ported onto the PC and was published in the US by Interplay. I have some questions about it:
* Are the ports arcade perfect (or have any problems what so ever)?
* How many Taito games were ported onto the PC in general (old and new)?
* I know Darius Gaiden, and Layer Section was published in the US by Interplay, but did Interplay published any other shooters?
* I herd G Darius and Raystorm was published for the PC, but did those games had a US release?
* Any problems playing these games on XP?
Please help me out, because I really want to buy those games for the PC.

I beileve Interplay also published Bubble Bobble on the PC. It's available on a two-pack with another game I can't quite remember.

No. Play-wise, you're better off picking them up for the Saturn and PSX.

Well, thanks to Home of the Underdogs, I was able to play the CD-RIP version of Darius Gaiden, Layer Section, and Raiden II (all published by Interplay).
Layer Section: Japanese version, the game runs too fast on Windows XP. Currently I'm trying to fix this, hopefully.
Darius Gaiden: Arcade perfect by the pixel and speed, works great on Windows XP (just no music well, it's a CD-RIP version).
Raiden II: I download the older version of Raiden II that wasn't published by Interplay, but it plays great. Arcade perfect by me (I herd there's something weird about the shadows in the game, but I don't care). No music because it's a CD-RIP.
Any more PC shooters I should look out for?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought these were basically ports of the PSX versions of those games. I don't remember where I read that, but I'm pretty sure I saw that once.

For Raystorm and G Darius, yes.
Layer Section and Darius Gaiden are perfect Saturn ports.

I'll be picking up Layer Section if I find it at the flea market next wednesday, then. Arrange Taito music = hot.

But like I said you been warned, the game runs too fast on XP (then again, I was running the 1997 version of it, not the newer Interplay version).

Bust-A-Move 2
I posted it in the "DOS/Win95/98 games!" section but http://nahoo.net/ has BAM2 for WIN32.
