rofl..

99% of the time, japanese versions of games are actually less rare than the american counterpart. also, platinium stuff or greatest hits will NEVER be rare. since it takes a million copies printed/sold to achieve that status.

There's an online rarity guide to this site, so you shouldn't really ask.

When refering to more then one the word you're looking for is "are" not "is".

Oh noez!!! Its the grammar police!!!

You can look up the rarities and suggested values of all of the American games here:

http://www.digitpress.com/DP/cmf/search.cmf

Japanese games are generally not as collectible, but some people (like myself) buy them because we think they are neat.

Short answer: No.

Having said that, what the frig is Kiwi Kraze (SMS)? D'ya mean the Newzealand Story?

This makes me laugh as much as when someone gets me round their house 'cos they've pulled a box of toys out the attic.

Is a loose RotJ Darth Vader that's been chewed by the dog worth anything? No, never. However, one of these days that dog chewed Vader/Luke will have an immaculate DT Saber, or I'll find a vinyl cape Jawa. One day.... I can but hope.

Can't blame people for asking. I mean, who'd have though some PAL Mega Cd or 32X games would go for that much cash?

As for grammar police, I have to stop myself from doing it on forums. But if I see a sign with an incorrect use of apostrophes and I have a pen......

Kiwi Krazy is the american title for New Zealand Story. Dont know if it came out for SMS in USA tho, but atleast for NES.

Well your Street fighter Alpha 2 Pal on snes is pretty
hard to come by, but apart from that all your Pal games
are common to say the least.

I am a fiction writer and know all about grammatical errors. However, when posting in a forum such as this, I make a few myself. I don't proofread my posts before hitting Submit. Here is my opinion.

This is the internet, not a college thesis. I don't make any money posting here and have nobody to impress. Unless the person making those mistakes is your child, brother or sister, then the best thing to do is ignore it. I don't expect everyone on here to have flawless grammar or spelling. It never ceases to amaze me that people point those things out on a forum which has people from all walks of life and locales posting. What do you expect? x_x It's almost as silly as not taking a poster seriously just because they don't have 5,000 posts. There is something to be said for treating every poster with some amount of respect, unless you prefer to have only the elite posting here. Save the barbs and bashing for shitty games and systems, not an unnecessary question or grammatical error.

I'll be back in an hour to check on all my errors that the alert readers point out. Remember, I didn't proofread before submitting. LOL

Some stuff about proofreading.

He said it twice, I don't think it was a typo. And if he's foreign or simply didn't know the correct grammar then my post serves as sound advice. If I were posting on a french website and phrased something wrong, I'd like to be politely corrected so I didn't do it again.

While I do stand by what I said, I also see your point. So nobody is really right or wrong. From my standpoint, the person who linked the rarity guide did all that was necessary to address this post :D

Nice job catching that error. I knew someone would find one.

What have I written? Nothing important yet, I am a struggling/up-and-coming fiction writer. I wouldn't call myself a master scribe but I write good enough to generate some interest. I've done a little work.

1. Short stories and poetry published in local/regional magazines, nothing you'll be able to track down unless you hunt for back issues of niche publications. Some of it I have gotten paid for, others I did not. I am currently working on my first full-length novel, in the juvenile fiction/young adult market.

2. Liner notes for small/mid-sized record companies, for greatest hits compilations, various artists compilations, etc. Most of it done under a pen name or anonymously, all I care about is getting paid. A couple of the albums were delayed or ultimately never released, which had more to do with label/band politics than my liner notes.

3. Press materials for bands. Again, it pays.

4. Freelance product reviews.

Lots of under-the-table, freelance type stuff. I am tired of it, though, and want to try my hand at real writing. You know, something that requires imagination. I'm not going to promote or brag up anything until I have some real legs on it. I am around 70 pages deep (single spaced, Times New Roman 10). 21 chapters are done in the first draft. I've already talked to two publishing houses with mixed results (the book deals with the occult), mostly for content and not my actual writing ability.

Ha ha ha.

Mega Drive. FAR less popular in Japan than in the US; lots of dirt-common titles here (True Lies, Contra, Comix Zone, Castlevania Bloodlines) are rare to SUPER RARE in Japan.

Now, granted, the titles he listed aren't very valuable for the reason that the unpopularity of the console meant those titles were more likely to hit the market. :P

Nice stuff with that Shinobi World and Ghouls 'n Ghosts on the SMS, rarities.

Good N64 titles, too; the Goemon games didn't come out here.

Those have to be the rarest games I've ever seen

If I was a Loch Ness Monster, I'd ask for about Tree Fitty
