I just got this PS1. It is a PAL version 10 million model blue. I just want to know what sort of trade value is it worth? If this is in the wrong forum, i apologise now.

I'll give ya $5 for it. ;) But I'm pretty sure it's worth a bit.
Where'd you get it?

not sure what that's worth, but it's one excellent looking bit of kit! good luck with the sale (if you ever decide to get rid!)

Do you still have its box?
From what I hear over $1,000...
They pop up on www.assemblergames.com every so often...I say head over there and ask. Several people there own them, and should be able to tell you what it's worth.

Depending on the market and whos going after it at the time it can move for anywhere near 700-1300+ if you've got some decent advertising on ebay and another site or two (ie, here and Assembler). I've not personally seen any PAL units sell myself so I couldn't tell you that systems worth. If its boxed and has everything it came with originally that only helps its value.

This thing does anything special, or it's just a different color job?

The last PAL version I saw on Ebay went for 50 euro or something. I'm not sure what this is worth, but I know for sure that 50 euro was a steal. It was sold in Italy btw.

Its basically a special numbered item and it has a different colored case. It has no fuctional difference then a normal ps1.

Thanks for the info guys. I got i locally for approx $50US. I liked the look of it and the fact that it had "Not for sale" on the base. It is in real nice condition and works great. It doesn't have the box though, unfortunately.
Those prices are amazing. I wonder though if they are applicablle to this PAL version as well. 50 euro for one on Italy eBay. hmmm.. Maybe they are not worth too much. I did a search on googole and couldn't find a thing.
I will jump over to assemblers and ask a few questions there.
Thanks again.

The one that went for 40 some odd euro only sold for that price because it was mislisted. If i remember correctly, it was listed as a black ps1, it was only after the auction ended that nicola realized that it was actually a 10 million unit. I would expect an unboxed pal unit to go for upwards of $800. There are only a hundred of them for each reigon.

Why 10 million? Was it for a contest or something like that? :hmm:

They were made to celebrate the production of the 10,000,000th PS1. Some were given out in a contest, others were given to high ranking people in sony and their business partners. 100 were made for each of the 3 reigons for a total of 300.
