View Full Version : Games that should be ported to the PC

I've noticed a very disturbing trend in the gaming industry lately. Alot of games that should be ported to the PC aren't getting ported for some reason! So here is my list of all the games that I think should be ported to the PC, along with all the reasons why I think that they should be ported to it:

Rallisport Challenge 2

This one is a no-brainer. The first game was ported to the PC, and it was the best rally racing on the PC to date. So why didn't they port the sequel too? Damn you, Microsoft!

Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge

This one is a no-brainer too. The original game was one of the most successful air combat games ever made for the PC, so why didn't they port this game to the PC as well? Damn you again, Microsoft!

Monster 4X4: Masters of Metal

This one had a lousy prequel called Monster Jam: Maximum Destruction, so it makes a little sense why it wasn't ported. But the sequel is alot better, so why wasn't it ported too? Damn you, Ubisoft!

Ford Mustang: The Legend Lives

This one is made by a Take Two owned company, so it makes no sense at all why there isn't a PC version. All of the Take Two owned companies are well known for porting their console games to the PC as well, so why wasn't this one ported? They gave us a Corvette game, and all 3 of the Ford Racing games, so why no Mustang game too? Damn you, Take Two!

Ford vs Chevy

This one is made by a Take Two owned company too, so it makes no sense at all why there isn't a PC version either. Damn you again, Take Two!

OK, that's all the games that I can think of right now, other than all the obvious choices that are doing very well on all of the consoles, which of course for me are mostly racing games, in case you couldn't tell my preference from the list above. So what games do you think need to be ported too?

What about that operation under the knife thing for the DS. That could be fun using a mouse to stitch people or some touch screen for the PC.

Mario Kart... how awesome would that be to have a massive, graphical, unreal Mario Kart game that could have races in up to 30 players at once or so...

There is a Korean knock off for PC which is apparently very good and it's even giving rts and fps a run for it's money, I forgot the name though. :embarrassed:

Yeah we did get mythic blades but that was terrible and there are allot of "doujin games" or whatever they're called like GGXX #, Melty Blood React and that French revolution fighting game which is supposed to be pretty good....

And that Chibi type Cosplay Fighter actually very good I've heard but nothing good with 3d...... Tekken would be nice, and MK we got up to 4, but then nothing I don't understand how it was profitable back then and not now.

The Midway classics that was recently released for PC even has MK ports on it but kinda bad.

Shadow of the Colossus

I don't have a Playstation 2 and that's the only game on there I really, really want to play, plus i bet it would look 10x better on pc. :D

much like the "Silent Hill PC" game, it was just a pirated copy of the Playstation game bundled with an emulator.

I really wish more console first person shooters would be ported over to PC, and double bonus if they were done by companies that were actually capable of giving us quality ports (ie. not Gearbox). I'm sure anyoen who played Nightfire or Halo on PC knows what I'm talking about here :( Imagine if Killzone running smoothly (bonus if it had some of the outstanding bugs patched) and with co op play (the game would be perfect for it!). Are your panties wet? Mine are.

Steel Battalion and the Armored Core games would be right at home on a PC as well (plus you wouldn't need to do all sorts of ninja trickery to play Armored Core online!).
