Or is this the way it came back when it was on retail shelfs?

To me, it looks as though someone bought a Kodak blank VHS tape, dubbed it from the master copy, and the final result is what see here.
If that is the case, isn't that illegal on eBay?

It's legit. I have a tape from the same series. It was released by Kodak Video Programs. The label on mine has text in blue rather than yellow. Games featured:
Castlevania 2
Blaster Master
Double Dragon
WWF Wrestlemania
Town & Country Surf Designer :hmm:

45 minutes south of you. Summerland. In fact I got this tape at a Blockbuster in your neck of the woods about 4 years ago.

Haha sweet. I know the area well. My aunt and uncle used to own a house there... sold it 'cuz it was haunted (yes Im serious).
Donno if you were in Kelowna within the past 2 years, but I used to own my own video game store in Kelowna. It was called GameTime, but I folded operations last May long weekend.

Holy crap. I think I saw that tape (or an encode of it) while visiting someone I knew last summer. I can't believe it's that cheap!

"Cheap" being the operative word. If I recall this thing is pretty bad.
@ Nintendan
I go to Kelowna quite a bit and I know where every pawn shop, thrift store and video store is but (and here's the part where I sound like a dumbass) I never knew there was a game store up there other than EB. I remember when Gamestation X closed shortly after Laurence sold it but I never new about your store. I feel bad man. I would have thrown some business your way.
BTW Now I'm curious about this haunted house. Could you PM the address your relatives used to live at. You don't include any of their personal info.

BRISK - If you know the owners of GameStation X, then you should remember Mark from O.K. Video Games in Penticton. He is my buddy. Do you remember O.K. Video Games? Mark gave me lots of his old stock from that store, and I still have some of it to this day.
As for my relatives hanuted house address, I dont have it. I can get it tho. Im pretty sure its on a street called MANN or MANNS... it's on the way out to the Summerland landfill/dump area. It's the corner house (green if I recall).
Now that I think about it... I bet you do know Mark. His best freind lives in Summerland. if your a hardcore gamer, then Im sure you know him and his buddy.
And here is something to refresh your memory in case you dont remember O.K. Video Games in Penticton: it was on Main Street, and he had a large 7-8 foot Mario "styrofoam" figure hanging up on the roof. All of Penticton should remember that.
What ever happened to that, you ask? I have that legendary bit of video gaming goodness out on my balcony right now, 10 feet from where Im writing this.
Anyways, I will get back to you with that address when I find it.
