I want to sell my Game.com but I don't know all the technicalities and things to help it sell. I have low feedback, which is putting me off even more. I've got these two pictures:

I just realised tonight that it's got a line of pixels not working on the right. It also has no stylus. The four games are Lights Out, Henry, Wheel of Fortune, and Fighters Megamix.

I was thinking of a 99p starting price and maybe a £15-20 BIN with £3 postage, but my low feedback makes me think I won't get much for it. It weighs about 700g, which is borderline between £2.52 postage and the one below. I based that price auctions like this (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8259482098&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1)

I'd like some tips as to what I should include in the listing, what happens when someone buys it, and any policies I should include.

I get nervous doing things with eBay because I'm worried about getting something wrong with their policies, so any help would make me feel better.

Thanks in advance.

Make sure you mention anything wrong with the item (lack of stylus, problems with the display) upfront. That way, you'll be covered in case the buyer complains. That's all I can say, others will have better input than me. :)

I wouldn't expect a broken Game.com to sell for much. Even complete, working ones don't demand much money. You may want to keep it or try trade or sell it here on the Buying Selling forum. That was you at least don't have to pay eBay fees.

I've been watching them on eBay UK and complete ones regularly go for over £15 with two games. That's more than enough for me. I think a £15 BIN is fine if the bidding starts at 99p. I want to get rid of it because to me it's a piece of shit and I hate it.

Definitely list the problems up front, like Kitsune Sniper said. You also want to be very clear in your listing about what kind of payment you allow, how you plan to ship it, things like that.

You have some good pictures there, so that will help you some. So will a buy-it-now price.

Once the auction ends, you'll want to e-mail the buyer with your mailing address and the like (unless you take PayPal, which I don't recommend), and to get his address for shipping.

I would recommend holding off on giving feedback until you know the buyer has the item and has no problems with it. Then you can trade positive feedback with each other. If there is a problem, you can work it out before any feedback is left and try to resolve it without a negative coming into play. And if your buyer is a jerk and just negs you anyway, at least you can neg him back.

what are they like? fighters megamix is on it (!!) i was under the impression that it was saturn exclusive?

any good?

anyway, regarding ebay, don't worry about feedback, it's one thing people worry to much about, it means nothing at all, i've been stung with people on over 1000 feedback, and also people on low feedback.

Game.com is only worth anything to collectors. Otherwise it's pretty much crap. The screen is very hard to see, it's old school black and white LCD, looks worse than the original Game Boy. It's also a touch screen, which makes it even harder to see. Late 90's touch screens aren't known for their quality.

Pretty much all the games on it are garbage except for things like Wheel of Fortune or Quiz Whiz or other non-action types of games.

You might be able to get a decent amount of money out of yours since it comes in a real box and not that cheap plastic packaging like so many do.

I know I searched long and hard for one with a real box when I bought mine. Don't remember what I paid for it, though.

Just because someone listed it for £75, doesn't mean that it'll sell for that.. >_>

Just search completed listings, that's the only way to get a fairly accurate price.
