Last year was the 20th Anniversary of Twin Bee, and I was hoping for Konami to release a game, or game pack collection. But no, nothing happened... they did release Twinbee Yahho! back in 1995 for the 10th anniversary. Or maybe I missed it...
Is there any TwinBee fan here who though about the same thing ?

For the longest time the makers of Twinbee, Konami did the same thing with Gradius, it turning 20 as well, but finally they broke down and did a Gradius Portable collection for PSP. I'm surprised we haven't seen a new Twinbee game lately, in fact I believe Castlevania turns (soon) or turned 20 already, that likely wouldn't get a collection either.
Konami for some reason has franchises hit a big anniversary and do nothing about them. I like Twinbee as well, just happen to like Parodius a little more, but Twinbee, Winbee, and crew have a charm all their own.

There really hasn't been a game with Twinbee since the final Parodius.
Noting of which, I'd love to see another Parodius. Seems like Konami can't poke fun at themselves anymore.

I would kill for a PSP version of Pop 'n' Twinbee. (Or Bells 'n' Whistles if you're in the US.) Any SHMUP with flying vegetables and fruits trying to kill you is a night well spent.

I love Twinbee, as you can see from the Twinbee I bought from the DP shop oh so long ago. For the 20th anniversary, they should've released a Twinbee Collection for PS2, Gamecube, and XBox.
Imagine it. First, the three NES Twinbee games. Then Pop'n Twinbee and Rainbow Bell Adventure from the SNES. Then Detana! Twinbee... then the puzzle game, and of course the Twinbee RPG, finally translated into English.

I'd buy a Cube version if there weren't a PSP version. It would HAVE to have the Arcade version though. It's much much better. Me love it long time.

Well, there was the Famicom Mini re-release of TwinBee not long ago, but yeah, TwinBee is all but dead. The last original release, TwinBee RPG, was what, 8 years ago? And the last original shooter, Yahho, was 10 years ago. :/ It's nice that they still do some cameos here and there, like in Dream Mix TV: World Fighters and in Konami Krazy Racers, but meh, that doesn't cut it. Oh well, it'll probably be awhile until I manage to get all of the TwinBee games I want (currently up to 5). Right now I'm just really eager for the RPG and puzzle game to arrive since I just ordered them.
