I made a trade with a mate and got a GBA with 6 games, I bought advance wars the same day and since I've had it I can't stop playing it. My cousin was driving me up town and a car in front was going quite slow and I actually said in the back of my mind FIRE! LOL
Why didn't I get a GBA sooner?
Does anyone recomend any really good games? At the moment I wanna get my hands on MK:Deadly Alliance for it. And FF Tactics.

If you like strategy titles, then give both Fire Emblems a shot. Pick up Shining Force if you come across it as well. One of the best values for the genre is Rebelstar: Tactical Command.
Then there are games like Link: Minish Cap, Castlevania Double Pack, Gunstar Super Heroes, Pinball of the Dead, Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga, and Harvest Moon to pick up outside of the genre. Lots of stuff. But you might have to settle with loose carts for some of the more popular and older titles.

Advance Wars is indeed a cool game. Get Advance Wars 2 also. Dont know hot MK:DA is, but MK advance got horrible controllers.

Zone of the Enders: The Fist of Mars. It's a TBS game like Advance Wars with some cool units and a pretty fleshed out story for a GBA game.

I had started a topic for the "Must-Have GBA" games a few months ago... here is a link to it.

Some games that I have since then purchased and play alot..
Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World
Pokemon FireRed
Yu-Gi-Oh: 2005
I just bought a Flash Cart the other day so I'm waiting for that to arrive, but I think it will be worth the 80 dollars I spent.

I heard about MK Advance being terrible, but every single review of Deadly Alliance was very positive. The scrrenshots look good aswell, can't wait to play it, especially considering I'm a huge MK fan.

I'm into RPG's and Gloden Sun, Minish Cap, FF and others are high on my list. I'm not overly concerned about the boxes because GB boxes are cardboard and never keep in good condition. Soon, when I buy the DS I'll be able to take advantage of the brighter screen.. The GBA screen isn't very reflective.

That game looks amazing! But hopefully it's not a Japan only, is it?

No, there's a US version. You can usually find it on Ebay for under $15.

I've been wanting to get both of the Advance Wars games myself, but holy shit the first one is a bitch to find brand new. I have found two new copies so far, but I had to pass up on both of them because I couldn't afford them at the time. The first one went for $40 and the last one went for $50. Now I can't seem to find a new one, but it is just as well, as I still can't afford it yet. Hopefully real soon though.
Speaking of new copies, it is very odd to me that it was one of the games on the promo list for the GB Micro. You had to buy a certain number of games on the list to get whatever the promo was, but it is impossible to find that game brand new at retail. It makes me wonder if there is some place that Nintendo sells it where I could order it. But there were some other rarities on that promo list as well.
