What is the best way to preserve boxes? I put some of my boxes in those vaccum seal bags and someone told me they were acidic. Does any one know whether this to be true? Anyway, how should i store them?

Depends on the plastic. It will take years and years before you see any damage tho. Use mylar bags if you want to store in plastic bags. What I heard mylar bags are guaranteed to preserv things for 1000 years. This cant be proven tho, but they should be the best alternative.

No problem :)
Quote from Wikipedia:

Mylar is used in bagging comic books, in order to best protect them during storage from evironmental conditions (moisture, hot and cold) that would otherwise cause paper to slowly deteriorate over time. This material is used for archival quality storage of documents by the Library of Congress

When the Library of Congress uses mylar bags to store documents it cant be bad.
