does anyone know what this might be worth. I have never seen one of these and was wondering if it was rare or a bootleg. Please post what you might know about this item. Thanks

Its a bootleg.

First obvious strike is that its not shaped like a normal GB cart. Second is that there is no Nintendo Seal of Quality, thirdly is that the games on there arn't from the same publishers so the likelyhood that so many would get put onto a single cart is next to nil.

The stock answer to a thread like this would be to say things like:

1) It's a pirate cart.
2) It's worth nothing.
3) Stop posting these "Is my worthless pirate cart the holy grail?" threads.

...And although answers 1 and 2 are in fact correct, I want to approach answer #3 in a more constructive way, but towards the same end. To wit:

If you see multiple intellectual properties on a game packaging or a startup screen, chances are it's a worthless pirate cart. There's very little chance that the large corporate structures which control characters as diverse as the ones on this cart would ever be able to hash out a contractual agreement that would allow them all to coexist on the same piece of silicon. Decisions like that are made by men in suits who live off of coffee donuts for weeks while locked in conference rooms arguing over percentage points.

So that's your rule of thumb to take out game hunting with you: Only a pirate would be both brave and expeditious enough to get Ronald McDonald, Batman and Mario among others all together on one game cartridge.

Well I wouldn't say worthless... The few that do make through an entire eBay sale fetch fair $. Nothing too high, but I'd say it's worth more than what you paid for it. If you can find the right person, they may be willing to drop some decient coin for it. If I collected GB pirates I'd offer you something for it, but I'm a NES/FAMI guy.

But I will agree that it's not a holy grail, no doubt

thanks for the quick replies. Yeah when I brought the game home and saw all the different types of games on it I just kind of laughed and thought wow what a mixture of games. I did not expect it to be worth much more than the 5 bucks that I paid for it. Thanks again
