at 4pm Gamestop sent an Email to release the pre disc

Yep.. all gamestops were authorized to release the pre-order and as a fuck-you they were giving them out with free guides IF you were one of the first to show up.. that would have worked great on a sunday morning opening.. but a LOT of people (those who work) are PISSED..

Luckly my gamestop knows me by name, and held me the goodies without even asking me :D but I went to get it at 7pm and when several kids saw I was getting the free guide the threw the biggest girly hissyfit I have ever seen. was quite entertaining.

I was there at 11:00 am, and the manager sold the Zelda disc to me, but he told me and the guy ahead of me that the guides weren't free. However, I will probably just read it in the store anyway.

honestly with gamefaqs.com guides are a waste if you REALLY need to cheat.. but free is free damnit!

Got my disc today. I didn't know there was a free guide. I'll have to get one tomorrow.

I picked one up at Best Buy and they are just sitting in a rack. This is great cause I paid 15 bucks for it and I can use the 15 bucks towards Zelda when it comes out or towards a different game. (I am not looking forward to Zelda as much as many other people. I will probably get it used at some point, but I wanted the "Not a chance of being rare" pre-order.)
