Someone give me tips on how to beat Event matches 49 + 50

Can someone give me tips on how to beat Event Matches 49 and 50 on Super Smash Bros. Melee? I'm stuck on those.

Not much you can do in terms of advice for number 49, just pick your strongest character, and if you can dance around the edges of the stage, you might get lucky and someone might slip off.

As for 50 I found Captain Falcon's (or Ganondorfs) B attacks on the ground to be pretty helpful.

Oh and when you reach event 51, use Jigglypuff and his down + B move.

I just saw that Jiggly stratagy on gamefaqs, interesting.

I tried the Jigglypuff strategy and couldn't get the timing down, I ended up just doing it with Link.

It's not so much about timing, just that you need to get right next to the enemy. Takes practice I guess, I'm pretty good at it though now.

I beat 49 this morning. There was only 2 or 3 seconds left!
