If we take the 3D Imager and compatible games together to be around $600, Polar Rescue at $200 and a boxed Vectrex at $300, then the rest amounts to say $1,150. Divide by 23 and you get exactly $50 per game there. Which personally is a bit high, though they do look in good shape.

Well I think your a bit high on the boxed vectrex and polar rescue , but dont forget the lightpen group though..AND the two New controllers,,,that all, taken with the outstanding condition made this a once a decade Collection oppurtunity IMHO...

I thought it would go for more. Considering the 3d glasses alone was sold for over $800 not long ago. Some of the games in this lot also looked sealed (with the bands/rope around them).

The next highest bidder is from Sweden. I wonder what the shipping would be for all this if he won hehe.

You're be surprised. In the condition they were in, I think the prices for the Vectrex and Polar Rescue are reasonable. I've seen worse condition PR go for more. I recently got a complete PR for $150 and the box is quite beaten.

I did forget the new controllers though, that's $50 each there. The lightpen group together is worth perhaps $200. Sounds low? Price seems to have dropped off on them in the last year or so.

Taking that into account, we've now got a remainder total of $850 between 20 games. So we're now down to $42.50 each here ;)

On the other hand, I won a complete 3D Imager, and the other two 3D games complete for $550 a few days before that one. Swings and roundabouts really. Prices for the imager and games are down compared to 2-3 years ago as well. Indeed there's a similar set to what I won with less than 6 hours to go only on $130 at the moment.

Btw I know the bidder in Sweden, he's got a huge stash of Japanese items for lots of systems. I got one of my complete Kousokusen games from him.

If im not mistaken the swedish guy also sold a Hong Kong Vectrex on Ebay.

I think that Jeff scored a good deal here. It is very rare that a chance for a Vectrex collection like this to be available all at once. It takes a lot of time and effort to score this many boxed games and rarities for the Vectrex.

Perhaps. On the other hand, I've been "collecting" original Vectrex releases complete for only about 3 months now and I only need about 3 more ;)

(and I've got the 3D games, the lightpen games, Polar Rescue, Star Castle, Pole Position... it's just general ones I need. Expect to see a WANTS post for it soon as I'll have some good Vectrex stuff on offer to trade for what I need)
