I was at the local used CD store, and in among the GBA games was a cartridge labeled EZF Advance III 256 MB. I assumed that it was a GBA flash cart, and I've wanted to check those out, so I decided to purchase it for $6.99.
I came home and googled it, and it looks like this is an "unofficial" flash cart (not sure how official the others could be, but I guess this is a rip-off of another brand's card). Anyway, as far as I could gather, this card came with a separate flasher unit which mine obviously doesn't have. I had actually asked the girl at the store if it came with anything and she said no, the guy just traded it in like that.
So my question is, does anyone know if I can do anything with this card without the flasher unit? I know some flash cards can be flashed through the gameboy with the use of a special cable, but I don't want to try and track down and purchase the cable if it won't work with this particular unit.
It actually came loaded with 5 games, mostly kids games which my daughter was happy with.
If anyone knows anything and can help, I'd appreciate it!
