Hey there, I'm getting down to the end of my Dreamcast collection and I'm looking for the North American version of the Sonic 10th Anniversary Birthday pack promo, that was given out when somebody got Sonic 2. It came with a music disc, card and a coin. I'm looking for it to have the promo sticker on it as well. If you have one to sell or trade, just get in touch with me.
Thanks
Mark

We spoke previously and although a beautiful set it doesn't have the sticker on it, he took it off when he purchased it. The sticker kind of defines it as the North American release (yes I'm silly, I know). I appreciate the heads up though.

It's the same as the the japanese version only the game didn't come with it, you got it for free when you purchased Sonic 2 at certain stores like Kaybee. It had no slip cover and the sticker said "promo" on it. I'm sure what they did was send the excess stock from japan to North America in an effort to get rid of it. I guess the better deal would be to buy the japanese version. I see them on Ebay frequently for decent prices, I even have an extra japanese version I'd sell. The reason I'm looking to get the N.A. "version" is that I'm anal and want a "complete N.A. collection.

hey mark i just wanted to let you know just in case you change your mind that all that sticker is is the sku for store employees to ring it up through their system, so its not really part of the set. while i was managing a gamestop we (the employees) actually put those stickers on there, not sega. they are stickers from the store they are sold from, i.e gamestop kaybee etc. just letting you know in case you change your mind but i completely understand if you dont!
