Hello guys,

a while ago i was looking at a bargain site i visit frequently and saw something pretty cool...a snes arcade cab !

Now, because i didn't have money and room for it,i kinda ignored it, but never forgot about it, and now i'm a little better off financialy, i went to check the ad again, and yup, still there, so now i find myself wrestling with the idea of actually mailing the guy and maybe even buying it.

But i wanted to see what you think of such thing.

The thing is, it's cool, but pretty useless i guess, since you cant play other arcade games on it unles you start rebuilding/modifiying the whole thing ( to play neo geo stuff etc),so i would just buy it because the snes is still me favorite system ever made, and someday, when i go live on my own, it would be cool to have such a cab in da house,if only for the coolness of it lol.

Besides,is it common to find over there ? or is it a pretty rare find ??

if you still have no clue what i'm jappin' about, check it:

it's not very far from my house,and it's "only" 200 euro,which is about the same in $ i guess,so it's not that expensive....is it worth it ?

And, for those who can't read the description, it just says that it still works fine, it even works on euro coins, and comes with a couple of games.

Yeah, that is the Nintendo Super System. Basically, the games had a set time limit on them, but overall they worked like their normal versions. Some of the known games for it are:

Super Mario World
F-Zero
Irem Skins
Super Tennis

quite a nice cabinet, but imo the playchoice is a better system (but i'd be bias because i've got a playchoice cab myself :P )

Hi Mate

Nice to see another collector from Belgium :D , it appears we even live in the same region :eek 2: ,

I've noticed this cabinet before, not a bad buy for 200 euro. But I think you should just go for a jamma compatible cabinet, or a MVS cab, should be more rewarding.

There are plenty of cheap cabinets in Belgium, I even bought my Simpsons 4 player arcade cab for mearly 25 USD, had to clean it up a little but it plays fine.
