Man I got a ton of GBA games, great system. Here's my top US titles:
Astro Boy: The Omega Factor
Castlevania
Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow
Castlevania: Circle of the Moon
Double Dragon Advance
Final Fantasy I and II: Dawn of Souls
Final Fantasy IV Advance
Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
Gradius Galaxies
Iridion II
King of Fighters EX 2: Howling Blood
Mega Man Battle Network 2
Mega Man Zero (there are four out now, every one of them is great)
Metal Slug Advance
Metroid Fusion
Metroid Zero Mission
Ninja Five-O
Rebelstar: Tactical Command
Riviera: The Promised Land
Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis
Wario Land 4
WarioWare: Mega Microgames
WarioWare: Twisted!
If you don't mind the Japanese get every Megami Tensei game that didn't come out here except Messiah Riser.
Anyone who even remotely likes 2D games needs a GBA ASAP, the shmup genre is the only one its lacking in. I think the Gameboy Player is the most used item on my Gamecube at the moment.

Hmmm... the only real modern system I play a decient bit...
I'd go with...
Fire Emblem : Sacred Stones
Mario Golf Advance
Super Dodge Ball (addicted to it)
Metroid: Fusion
Ed Oscuro

Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance is great, sticks to classic Castlevania a bit more than Aria of Sorrow (though CotM is the most like a classic CV by far).

Tales of Phantasia, which I always loved, will be out in a week.
I'm going to look over it very careful and compare it with the DEJAP version.

This is probably going to sound dumb, but Super Mario World has gotten more gemplay in my GBA and DS than any other single title. I've topped out the score, and beat all 96 levels. Now I am working on collecting all the Dragon Coins (not much further). I would max out the life count, but everyone know you can just pick up extra lives in Top Secret Area.
The Metroid titles are next in line. Both Fusion and Zero Missions.
I played Goldensun for a long itme, but saved my game immediately before fighting the end boss, and I'm not powerful enough to even stand a chance. So that game went back in the box without being conquered.

Final Fantasy Tactics
As a big FFT fan, I an obligated to be a nitpicky jerk and point out that Final Fantasy Tactics (PS1) is very different from Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. I, like a very large portion of FFT fans, strongly dislike FFTA, so I don't want anyone to confuse the titles.
Favorite GBA game? Eh... Advance Wars 1 and 2, I guess.

I have to give my vote to Wade Hixton's Counter Punch which is far too underrated. If you like Punch-out for the NES you'll like this. Cel shade graphics and good game play. And the final enemy is as hard as Mike Tyson himself in the Punch-out!!
One game which is'n mentioned yet is Polarium Advance. Nice little puzzle game which is released on DS as well.
Mario vs. Donkey Kong is also decent puzzle/platform game. I prefer the Donkey Kong for original game boy though.

Phalanx was a pretty cool Shmup imho.
F-Zero is probably my favorite Racer on the System.
Wario Ware just rocks :)
And I haven't played lots of RPGs on the GBA but Golden Sun seemed to be rather cool.

I'm a platformer junkie and Crash Bandicoots Huge Adventure fills that need for me on the go with its predictable yet very solid gameplay. I like it because it plays a lot like the classic PS1 versions.

I have a couple questions about some games I have seen listed:
When reading about Sword of Mana, I get the impression it is a tedious and inferior remake of Final Fantasy Adventure. Is this game good or not, dammit?
Does the Japanese version of Kurukuru Kururin have English in-game text? I have seen english screenshots but I assume they are from the european version.
