Time Killers Vs. Pit Fighter

Both games sucked, but which gimmick drew you in more despite the horrid gameplay?

I remember Time Killers being touted as the first game to use 32-bit graphics. I never found out exactly what part of it was 32-bit, but I remember lots of color fades.

Most people hate these two games, but I've ALWAYS enjoyed Pit-Fighter. Time Killers, not one of my favorites but I didn't think it was that terrible either.

So I'm further showing that I'm NOT a hardcore 2D fighter fan. I just like the button mashing.

I gotta go with Time Killers. I recall seeing the "head" button and thinking "Wow, what a great idea for a fighting game!" This was, of course, before I actually played it.

Time Killers. Like Kid Fenris said, the game featured an innovative button scheme. Time Killers also grabbed my attention since it was actually possible to dismember your opponent during the course of a battle. Of course, playing Time Killers isn't half as engaging as its concept may seem.

Pit Fighters is one of those bad games that still is kind of enjoyable to play.

Two pretty nice fighters for there time ive just recently played time lkillers on mame and its still cool so il go for that one now but for in the arcades it has to be pit fighter asll the way there used to be a queue in our chip shop for pit fighter and everyone was always trying to kick each others asses like the kick that ty does i couldnt do it either nevermind it was pit fighter though

My bid goes for Time Killers, on three accounts:

1. It looks more like a Street Fighter-esque game than PF.

B. I'm a bit of a sucker for excessive violence, and this game pleases my bloodlust, though certainly not as much as Splatterhouse.

Three. Digitized graphics are just ugly in my opinion. Mortal Kombat looked kinda clean, though, but PF... no, just... eww.

if your talking digitised graphics then i dont think they exploited the power that an arcade machine can actually go to all the mortal kombat series is proof of that they were way ahead of time and just look what they did they went and threw in a crazy old nasty fighting system pit fighter still gets my bid it was a cool game for its time and the megadrive conversion still shone through shame about the snes must be about the hardest game ever to complete nvm peace by the way can anyone complete double dragon 1 without dying once message me if you can id like to see it cos i know i can but then again i am the king at double dragon and all other fighting games you know when they say the king of iron fist tournament well they were talking about me
