Damn. No MKII. Why? Why?? Why???

Ultimate has its perks, but the general populace regards II as the highlight.

That said, I know I'll download it regardless. I can't believe how much Robotron I've played since I snagged it with extra points.

I definitely agree with MKII being the cream of the series' crop, but UMK3 is a great choice, too. As you can probably tell by my first post, I'm thrilled. To be honest, I think that this might even be preferable, as we already have MK2 ports on Xbox1 AND PSP. UMK3 is a brand new treat.

I'm also thinking that it's likely to be relatively cheap. Midway's always kept their 'classics' at a low price, including $5 each for the ones already on XBLA. I'm betting that UMK3 wont be higher than $10.

same here, but I would love a port of the original, since we were robbed by having the snes port, (tollerable) and then the n64 ver, sad.... but I too would like a new KI on the 360

Im not sure wether its been touched upon before but
with these retro titles being mad available it realy looks like
Microsoft are pushing for a similar market strategy to
nintendo in offering downloadable old school classics.

one advantage is that the arent limited to there console releases
and can go for great arcade games, and is probably they way to
do it if you dont have a back log of older console software
to lean on. Unless Sony can do something very similar and
do it well Nintendo and Microsoft may well be the Retro
gamers most cherished consoles

I would say that the release of a highly anticipated Killer Instinct 3 is more likely. I'm hoping Rare will announce it at E3 this year... wasn't this hinted at in the Conker Xbox demo?
