GB gameshark question

Ok
I found out that wisdom tree GB games wont work in my gameboy sp...
Why? Because the stupid cart case is oddly shaped and a wee bit too short too reach the pin connector. (correct me if Im wrong on this)
So...could a device like a GB gameshark be used to bridge the gap...or would it be incompatible with the GBAsp hardware?

Anyone?

Added: Can a Gamboy/Gameboy Color Gameshark work on an advance???

You know, I have a GBA regular and I think I have a Joshua cartridge....let me see if I can track down both of those along with the GBA GameShark I have and see if it works.

It'll take me a day or two to dig them out...

This trick will not work with the GameGenie. The way carts are inserted into it will not allow the Wisdom Tree games to insert properly. Not sure about the Game Shark, though.
