i picked up a new controller today, resembles an arkanoid controller in looks, slightly anways, its a quickshot and it looks like you hold it with the cord towards you, and there is a directional pad(circular) in the middle, select start bar above that, turbo on off above that, and A/B buttons are on the top corners, for.....maybe......one handed play? i've never seen one of these but i picked it up for $3, and it looks to be mint, good buy? is this rare or have i just never seen one?

You know, i think most of the Quickshot stuff for the NES are not rare, just uncommun or very uncommun. If it isn't list in the DP Guide tell Joe about it. Last month i made two additions like that. Don't forget tell us is unique identification number (QS-XXX)

can somebody post my pics if the send them the pics? i really have no idea how to post them, its not on the list though, its a QS-126. let me know, the pictures are about 70kb a pic, and there are quite a few but i'll try and narrow them down between good and bad.

until then, somebody get ahold of me about posting these pictures.

Sorry for the shitty pic, but it's the only one on my site of it's kind. But I think this is what you're talking about? If not just email me the pics at feedback@vidgame.net and I'll throw them up on my site.

I found 2 of these controllers...found one and then the other about 2 weeks apart...still one sitting at a pawn shop I visited recently. One of works fine, the other needs to be taken apart and cleaned...the control disk sort of reminds me of a......Intellivision controller!!!ACK!!!! @_@ The Keeper

finally, yes thats it. so i'm taking it........that its on the books somewhere and not very rare......but was it worth $3? i haven't used it yet but the buttons click real good like it was never used, wonder if its because it looks so uncomfortable, i'd rather stick with the regular controller for NES, whats some gaming if you dont feel like you're 80 when you're done X_x

I'd say for $3 any piece of VG equipment is worth it, save for a SM/DH or Combat cart. You might not be able to make a spare nickel if you try to sell it, but add it to your collection and it's that much bigger.

The chance of finding them I think is regional. In NYC I haven't seen one yet, but at the Funco I worked at in MI, we had about half a dozen of them.
