Currnetly, my PSP is at ver. 1.5, just as it was from the factory. I love NES emulation on it, so that's fine and dandy. Thing is, there are some games that I'd like to play (GTA, PQ, Street Supremacy, Pursuit Force) that I can't since I'm reluctant to upgrade the firmware.

So, I hear that there's a way to run emus on 2.x firmware, and it requires a copy of Grand Theft Auto: LCS. I snagged one in a trade, and now I'd like to get the system upgraded and set so I can still enjoy my NES on the go.

Anyone willing to point me in the right direction or provide me with a walkthrough? Most of the sites just have the files up and finding all of it (and getting it installed and functioning)is kinda tough since it's not exactly 'new' news. Do I need a different version of the NesterJ NES emu software I already have? Help!

Just keep your PSP at 1.50 and you can have both. A new loader was released last week that lets you play newer 2.00 games like GTA and PQ on 1.50 firmware. The latest version lets you load .ISO's *and* UMD's. Go to www.psp-hacks.com to download the loader.

Here's a list of games that work on 1.50:
