Hi,

I was wondering if this console, made by Sachen , is rare or not.

Sachen carts seems to be not very rare, but I have never seen the Console made by Sachen in Ebay...

I have two complete sets with ps + controllers + all leads.

I will try to take pic later today ; size is like Nes, but roundrer edges like Snes ( PAL ) , it takes all Sachen carts as well as other Nes carts ( Pal, Mattel,Usa, Asian ). it has a little clear window on top of the cart .

Colouring is grey with litlle blue alongsides; with the text Sachen ( similar as the text from the carts ).

I have made a quary thru Google, but not found any other info .

We know that Sachen "made" lot of games. But if they did a NES-Famicom clone that doesn't really surprize me because there alot of clone in Asia

They made/make? a Famiclone that is clear blue plastic and has like 8 Sachen games inside.. I see one on Ebay every once in a while with a BIN of 39.00 with no takers..

Sachen calls it the Q-Boy. and the Video Game Collection has them for $89.99 though you can get em from the company for $25 or something if they sell em for $90.

hmm.. can't seem to find a picture.. But it looks just like a famicom only made of clear blue plastic and the wires to the controller look all metal-ly.. like.. like they were made of foil..

I know abot Q-Boy , and this is totally different machine, it has none build-in games.

that is the only Sachen famiclone I know about.. Got pictures? love to see it.

i have a q-boy, but mine is a controller with 30 or so built in games. it came with a second controller. it looks very modern and stylish actually.

Yep, I will take the pics as soon as I get the batteries charged on my digicamera.

As you can see in the pics, the console and controllers is more like Snes, but it eats Nes carts.

Unlike most "pirate-nes" this beuty is made with care , with the clever top-side hatch that is handy when cleaning pins.

Just checked the consoles, and found that they only work with Sachen carts , no Pal NES carts seems to be compactible...as I don't have any Usa carts at hand , I don't know if they work or not.

I believe this is not a Famiclone ( I have about 35 different ) , but instead it may have been intended to hit the Usa market along with the carts ... or maybe not, who knows.

It may prove interesting to check if this works with Asia / piracarts that are with the same physical size as Nes carts.
